Ok. I have 305K on my '86 sedan that's been pampered and serviced regularly all its life and has the original engine and auto trans. At 300K I did a major serivce. Yesterday, I finshed the rest of the items I didn't get to 5K ago. I installed a new cat and Starla exhaust system, flushed and renewed the engine coolant, pulled the fuel rail and cleaned and installed new seals to the injectors. rotated the tires and also changed the oil (which I do every 2500 miles). I did the oil change after I replaced the coolant so that the coolant would cirrulate and the oil would warm up.This morning, I poured in a bottle of Techron and filled up and recheked the oil level to make sure all was well and saw something I'd never noticed or seen before. A slight milky froth up the entire oil dip stick and some at the tip of the stick. After rechecking a couple more times, it was still there (at the tip) but not as bad. I haven't been loosing any coolant in the past and alway check my oil level every other fill up and have never seen this situation. My first thought, a bad or blown head gasket. But am I looking for something there that's not a problem. I'm thinking of redraining the oil out and adding new to see if the oil coming out is not normal in color being it's only 25 miles old.
Thanks in advance to everyone.
