Number three...number three...number three... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

Many thanks for the responses. Let me clarify and add a bit more detail:

Virginia does have around 81,000 miles.

There is a "coughing" coming from the exhaust. I am starting to lean towards a burnt valve. However, how does this explain the brown insulator on spark plug #2?

Obviously I will take off the head. I need the procedure explained to me - what tools do I need? I am going to order some stuff from IPD today. Should I order an exhaust valve? A head gasket? Anything else anyone can think of?

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
