760 engine to 960 700

Hello, The cross member is different for the transmission only because it is aluminum, but it has the threaded holes for the O2 sensor wiring, so use a 960 cross member, you also need to use the engine mount pod from 960. This is quite an easy swap. I have done two in the past from totaled 960's. I have even gone as far as welding on the 960 suspension mounts for the much quieter ride. I have yet to tackle the independent rear suspension swap, but I will be doing one this month. If you are using parts from a 94 down the gas tank is bigger for longer cruising, but will only work from a 960 wagon. The dash swap gets a bit tricky with old plastic, so use extra time and care. Pauli
