Rough idle....replace harness? 200

Hey rustydog...

Nothing I could see in the intake piping except the IAC hose that attaches to the large bellows head in front of the throttle body. Keeps wanting to pop off. But even when I hold it all the way down...no change.

Gaskets are new from FCP.

Thermostat assembly in airbox was removed including flap. Side preheat hose vent was covered with a very fine stainless steel mesh for more air.

Did botch up the ground connection for the ICU, but it's now grounded properly and so are the dual FI grounds on the intake. Will remove and clean again.

Throttle was cleaned with carb cleaner and those tiny little holes at the base were blown out. I was careful not to get any spray into the TPS. I will check the TPS again tomorrow.

Which leaves me with the harness. Have a spare FI harness but no ignition one.

Did you remove the fan shroud, belly pan or both to snake the harness under the engine???
