Door seals 140-160

You probably stretched it just slightly as you worked it around the door, causing it to come up a bit long. I would be reluctant to cut it shorter in fear that it would pull back over time and leave a void. If it fit originally, it should fit again. If anything, rubber generally shrinks with age. I would pull the last couple of feet loose, make sure the ends butt together, and then start tucking it back into the track starting at the end and work back toward the point where you stopped pulling it out. Make sense??? 1 inch really isn't much to have to re-correct for. Can you just slide it in the track without actually pulling it out? Unless you have a particularly difficult time working it into the track, or it wants to fall out afterward, I wouldn't put any soap or cement on it.
