engine cuts off while driving 700 1988

Next time it cuts out, watch the tach needle whilst cranking. If it doesn't move I would suspect the ECU (ignition computer) as you have already replaced the hall sensor (what you call pick-up coil)and the power stage. (I'm assuming you've carefully checked the hall sensor cable and connector).

If the tach moves, listen for the fuel pump right after cranking - should hum for a second. If no hum, change or re-solder the pump relay (common problem).

If tach moves AND pump hums, but still no start, suspect the coil or HT connections.
