Piston slap 700

Volvo dealers did a lot of custom piston fitting under warranty to eliminate piston slap noises on the B230 series of engine. That warranty work came to an abrupt halt with the introduction of piston oil cooling. It is possible the pistons were fit tighter at the same time, but the warranty work on piston slap stopped then.

The pistons are the same length throughout the B230 production.
