My info is:
0 280 000 009 - '70 B20E
0 280 000 017 - '71 B20E
0 280 000 034 - '72 & '73 B20E
0 280 001 009 - '71 to '75 B30E

All the 6 cylinder control units I have seen are 001. I'm not an electronics guy, but I think the 6 cylinder unit might have bigger power transistors to drive the extra injectors. I have always wondered if this is actually the case? I've also wondered could a 6 cylinder unit power 8 injectors?
