I think I would not be as cautious as Honeychrome but I WOULD remove the
gas tank and get it cleaned before trying to start the engine. You can
run a fuel line from the pump into a gas can as a provisional tank to get
it running. Look at the oil first and if it is dirty or milky, change it.
Probably has DOT3 brake fluid which can polymerize in lines, both brake and
clutch, so they should be at least bled and if there is any funny business in
that, the cylinders should be cleaned and kitted or replaced.
