If you DO want to start it, you're going to have to clean out the carbs as well, and I think the best thing to do in the cylinders is toss some Marvel Mystery oil in there and let that soak for a while before you try to turn it over. Maybe loosen some sticky rings and get some oil in there so it doesn't wear real badly when you crank it. Other than that, good luck! Blow out the fuel lines, clean the pump...
