I can't answer that question, I let my super knowledgeable Volvo mechanic drive the car around at the very beginning of it's rebirth. I'll have to ask him about that.

Checked the oil level yesterday, it was down a quart after about 500 miles of mostly highway driving (overdrive engaged most of of time, 20W-50 in crankcase). No visible leaks. 1050 miles total on rebuilt engine. Leakdown/ compression test results soon to be posted.
