I'd agree that new would probably be too expensive. I happened to get a nice entirely servicable set on ebay, for the sum of $85, plus shipping. They were listed as a disc brake conversion for a model T, and the package consisted of some metal spacers, some aluminum discs, and both front brakes from a 122, rather rudely torch cut on the A-arms. I'm still even using the brake pads some 2 years later. The dust boots were a bit dry and cracked, but I pulled the aside a little and fileld them with brake lubricant (that clear stuff you typically put on sliding caliper slides) and they've not given me a moment's trouble. Those old Volvo discs just seem a lot harder than newer cars have. You just seem to be able to go through pad set after padset with the same rotors, and I typically never even need to turn them. i guess modern cars are using harder brake pads for better brake feel, and they eat the rotors just as much as the rotors eat the pads.
