starter problems 200

Did they replace it or rebuild it? Often shops send it out for replacement of brushes and bushings. If that's the case then as Jim suggested the problem is likely melted/broken insulation in the armature windings. This was a chronic problem on a few Toyota models, and I had it happen with a VW. Same symptoms, no restart after shutting down hot but fine once it cooled off.
