This is not to gainsay the wise men who have already spoken, but I've had two Amazons with B16s. Admittedly, that was a long time ago, but I can't remember having anything to complain about as far as performance, noise, or durability were concerned. It was the speeding tickets that griped me! BTW, my ownership of the second one included an eight-year period when I did a daily 12 mile commute with a nearly 1.6K feet elevation difference with two, albeit light, passengers on board. I clearly remember, however, that when I traded that car for a new 245 in 1980, I was pleased that the new car performed almost as well as the old 122S with the B16.
