Head replacement questions 700

If the block is cracked I'd replace it with a reman short block. If both the head and block are damaged I'd replace it with a reman engine. The red block engines were pretty inexpensive at the dealer I worked at, considering they come with a warranty and you could use one from a newer model which has piston cooling.
