If you damaged the block...well then u really did something...these are iron blocks if i am correct and are not generally subject to heat damage, unlike the aluminum heads. as far as i know N/A heads are not interchangable with turbo heads. I would just dive in and pull that head off and take it to the machine shop and see what they say as to warpage...I will tell you though that volvo specs as to maximum milling on heads is way too conservative. being that yours is a turbo if u bump the compression up too much u may end up with detination...but i think that is not too likely and u can always use a boost controler to limit the boost or instal a water injection system to compensate. I did a complete head job myself on my 86 244 30,000 miles ago. It cost me about $400 including machining costs. As it was my first time doing an OHC engine it took me approx 15 hours in total (about 5 of which were spent tracking down a loost coolant temp sensor plug). Now after the massive milling I have a b230f whith nearly 11:1 compression....too bad the 347,000 mile rings won't hold it all in lol....also by fixing the valves my fuel economy double...it was nearly 11mpg when i got the car...now it is 22 or so, not great but she's quite an old girl and she starts and runs everytime so i don't bitch too much.
