Engine knock 700

If the engine is skipping I'd say a broken valve spring. I've seen a few of them myself and they were all in 700 series cars. The valve just floats on top of the piston and slaps it a few degrees ATDC. Pull the cam cover and check the lifters and see if one has dropped. All that is needed to repair this is a new spring, keepers, top washer, and O-Ring. There won't be any damage to anything else unless the car has had a lot of miles put on it since it broke.
