Building a performance B18 140-160

For $1500 total, you should:

buy a salvage yard B20F
refurbish the head
new D grind cam / lifters / pushrods
refurbished SUs
new distributor
balance and blueprint, to the extent you can afford it, the block
if you can stand it, salvage motor innards from B30s in junk yards

I'm probably over $1500 just with that.
