If you have a strong Spark then it is not the condensor. If a crappy spark on the first crank going to no spark then it most likely IS the condesor.

A condensor is a capacitor. It holds then releases the Charge to the Plugs. with a bad Condensor there will be no discharge into the plug.

Timing eyeballed to where it should be? TDC is probably the wrong spot
