On the 9th level of Radiator Hell! (LONG, FRUSTRATED RANT!) 700

It's possible they sent the wrong radiator. I've installed dozens of nissens radiators and most are a simple slip in. The heavy duty ones for 240( which is the same radiator no??)is a hair wide for the factory brackets by mabey 2-4mm, the little rubber cradles top and bottom, the metal around them generally need to be splayed out toward the engine a bit for them to cup around the radiator enough to fasten it down( sorry, i'm too sleepy to remember exactly how i do it, but I think I just bent them out with vice grips, I may have cut them at the bend to make them bend out easier, that Heavy duty radiator is a tad thicker than the stock one.)the ones on the bottom on the frame need to be spread as well. once this is done it will seat down and the tranny lines will fit.
