The fact it starts up ok points to other problems like overfueling,or very blocked exhaust system. check oil level, high can indicate fuel leakage past rings. If that is the case oil will be diluted. Disconnect muffler and look for improvement, it all comes down to process of elimination. Regards Jack McIntyre.
