Set the valves at a loose .018 inch. That's enough for an old motor. The wrench size you need is 1/2 inch, and use the box end of course on the adjuster. On the B20 engines temperature isn't important. Do it cold and take your time. Just point the rotor at the spark plug wire of the cylinder you want to adjust and you will be fine.
