Pumping Irony... 120-130 1967

Don't know if it would make any difference in this case, but whenever I drain/ refill my cooling system, I turn the heater in the passenger cabin on high/ full blast. I also let the car idle a bit higher than normal (around 1500 RPM I'm guesstimating) for a few minutes. I watch for the fluid level to drop in the radiator, then fill it up to top again, apply the cap and call it good.
