B18 B or D? 444-544

Um, I don't have the numbers available, but the 108HP 1800S motor is the B18B. With the dual downpipe, unified manifold it's 115HP.

The B18D made 90HP with the separate manifolds and 95HP with the unified one.

The only difference between the B and D is the thickness of the head. B measures 3.425" thick, producing a compression ratio of 10.0:1. D is 3.465" thick for a CR of 8.7:1. I believe both heads are the same casting and have all the same markings -- I don't know of any way of telling them apart without measuring.
