B18 B or D? 444-544

It sounds like I have a "B". As far as carbs go, I believe I have standard dual SU HS6's. I'm taking an Automotive Engine class at my local community college and was able to do some compression tests last week. All cylinders were around 150-160 psi. A leak-down test of the #1 cylinder revealed a lot of blow-by past the rings. My chart shows that compression should be more like 170-200, but the engine is almost 30 years old and the engine might have been on the cold side. So for now, I'll continue to enjoy the car even if I can't blow any doors off. Thanks to all for the input.
