Calling all electricians. 140-160

LED's do generate much less heat but they still do generate some heat, especially the newer high output LED's. Over the long run lexan may not hold up, as it's a lousy heat sink. The positioning of a taillight on a MC probably provides for more coling from air flow too. Also note the heat resistance of any adhesives used.

Since the LED's provide less resistance as well, you will probably need a different type of flasher unit for the turn signals. If you're not sure how to deal with it you may find some advice at your local import tuner shop, the ricers use LED's quite a bit.
