I also went the easy way and bought a normal sytle LED bulb. I've got 'em in the taillights and turn signals in the rear. Can't recall how many LED's were in each one, but they were brighter than normal bulbs. I put a halogen bulb in for the brake lights. Now I don't get pulled over for having "dim taillights"! Never had a problem with the turn signals going too fast, unlike the same type of bulb in my '03 Pontiac!
