The inner two panels were not there, instead there was a white vertical rectangle back-up light. That lower center spot had something in it, I don't remember what.

The lower inside panel on the 5 panel light is a combination reflector/tail light. Which is, sort of, what I suggested the reflector on the 6 panel lights would be used for.
