Tricky job, but user possible. 140-160

It's a tricky job. You need a special tool.

The bushings MUST be pressed out and in. They cannot be hammered in place.

I used this:

But with a slot cut through the outside end so it coud be fitted around the upper control arm pivot axle. The lowers are pretty straightforward. Cna be done as you say, but the balljoints make a bigger difference. As long as you are there, replace the lowers. Use the same tool.

You should refer to the Haynes or FSM.
