Possibly the coil, but... 140-160 1973

Sorry -- electricity is a little like magic to me. Can you explain this as you would to a small child?

Which is the supply wire and how do I measure its amp capacity? What is a 15+ wire?

I have a voltmeter and can test the Pertronix ground (black one going to the coil's negative pole, right?) and the battery voltage.

I don't think I have any noise suppresor condensors. The only other wires on the coil are the ignition switch (negative side) and the tach (positive side).

I may not know electrical systems, but I am very good at lifting heavy objects.

Steve M.
