Did I miss something? Overheating 140-160

Thanks Klaus, I will try that tomorrow AM. It is a new thermo that seemed to be working before this. I also installed a hi output auxiliary SPAL fan to assist in the cooling and I just completed that about an hour ago so I will give it a test run tomorrow. Honestly, I thought it was easier installing the heater core than the water pump! I went ahead and installed a new condenser and a new radiator while I was at it. This thing is looking pretty new now. The Volvo dealer wanted $1200 just for the labor on the heater core and $850 on the water pump (part included)! I guess if you are going to drive one of these it is best to know how to fix them yourself.
