Did I miss something? Overheating 140-160

There may be air in the system. When the engine is cold, take off the cap on the radiator and fill it up. Replace the cap. Then squeeze the top coolant hose several times until you hear it gurgle.
Check the coolant level in the overflow also, it should be up to the metal band that holds the tank in place.
