That's an interesting method you show...I've never seen it myself, and I thought on first look it was pretty neat and got the job done (accurately)...but just a second!...upon closer examination, it too is an estimate because the line drawn at the upper hole (of the 5-hole drawing) is not tangental to the neighboring hole...so its close and might serve (when using a tape measure)...but not exact either...I'll have to try it next opportunity...two points for ingenuity though!
