O2 Sensor 200 1989

Getting to the O2 sensor is easy-look where the exhaust leaves the engine, it has 2 white and one black wire. I just bought a universal one off ebay for $25. But it has 2 white and one black wires. Does any one know if the two white wires are interchangeable? There is no distinguishing marks on either. Thanks.
