Hi Alan: It's very comforting to find someone else blazing a trail for us to follow. And what excellent news regarding the 6 bolt flexplate/AW70 converter compatibility. I just realized that we can effect the tranny swap behind the existing B18, sort the whole thing out and then drive (and debug) the car while building up a beefy B20 as phase II. All we need is a 6 bolt flexplate. Anybody got one sitting idle looking for a loving home?
BTW Alan, we're practically neighbours. I live in Kelowna, BC and could be on your doorstep in ~5 - 6 hours, border crossing niceties permitting.
