I was going to include that but my sister thought that all states were included on the updates when she got them, and that she had to select New York when she installed it. As in, one update disk for Federal and a second one for the states.

The other guy isn't around any more but wouldn't have copies of returns he didn't prepare. And yes, I could find a CPA but I was hoping to do this from home and not have to travel back again for this. Now that I have made the 6 hour trip (each way) to see somebody in person at the only office that could show me records, they have agreed to let me correct this by phone from out of the country.

I am also trying to keep costs low since I now have to fix a problem I did not create.
