Disabling electronic trunk lock 200 1987

You can unplug the wires in the trunk or alongside the center console by the driver's right foot. There's a blue connector there, with blue and yellow wires tucked into the carpet, right next to the black turn signal flasher relay. This plug also powers the locks for the rear doors. Could be a good place to install a hidden switch if you want to make this disable a temporary thing. Breaking either the blue or yellow wire would render rear locks inoperable.
