Thanks Ian, this helps confirm my fears. You definately have the same set up as mine so I appreciate the first hand knowledge. Mine is totally locked up so I guess I'm looking at going the ballistic route. Just to confirm, the pin I am seeing just behind the steering wheel IS the pin we're talking about? Also, as I noted, the pin has a hole down the center (hollow) and your saying that the whole pin will advance in if I get the switch into pos # 2 (I'm just trying to claify that I'm not supposed to be using the hole in the center to press a pin below the surface, etc)?
