"I took off wheel and put back on correctly orientated(had to buy $9 27mm deep socket to do so)."
That was a very bad idea. Demand your money back and find another alignment shop. If the steering wheel was no longer centered after their alignment, the steering rack is also off center. The car might travel straight but the car will make tighter turns in one direction than the other. Not only is your alignment off but the problem is compounded by the fact that you can no longer use the steering wheel as referince for true dead center. Go to a more professional shop and tell them what you did with the steering wheel that way they can try to fix both problems.
Good luck
