heres an idea 140-160

When you turn off the key the sparks stop, so how can it be timing huh? Maybe advanced timing will make carbon glow a bit in the chamber and ignite fuel, but it isnt the spark plug. I have never heard of setting idle speed with the ignition timing, which you seem to be doing. Fix the carb, you obviously messed up the throttle plate, and set the timing to 10 before, and then set the idle speed.
