Except that the single largest car market in the world is North America, and the French have been unable to establish even a poor dealer network, let alone an average one.
Honda is able to make cars in the markets they sell them in, and well at that.
The French would like to have a fraction of the success that the Accord has achieved....
Buy a French car and get what you deserve. They are like Saabs, only more horrible.
