240-140 starter swap 140-160 1974

George,Here's the skinny,
Just the top mounting threads are stripped on the 140 starter housing,and there really isn't room for a nut behind the starter flange without grinding the starter housing. Also the top bolt won't retract
because it hits the bell housing for the AT. Seems to be a rock and a hard place kind of a deal.
1:Find another threaded 140 starter,2:or helicoil,3:or grind for a bolt up and pull the tranny to use a longer bolt and nut set up.
