Volvo 740 No Start

After rereading your post. I noticed this is an 87, the last year of the infamous "engine wiring harness" problems. The insulation breaks down and causes all type of problems. If your is original, that could be part of your problems. It's usually noticable on top of the intake manifold where there are several grounds. You can see the insulation breaking down.
