MAP Sensor and Air Temp Sensor Dumb Question 700 1992

Yes, the air temp sensor is where an AMM would be in a Bosch car. It's in the big tube coming off the air box. You don't need to remove it from the big tube to get a look at it, and I'm not sure if you can pull it out of the tube. But you can remove that short section of tube with the sensor right in it and then look down the tube to see where the air flows through it. If you felt it needed cleaning, I guess you could do that too, though I've never seen one that looked dirty.

Have you checked your coolant temp sensor for the ECU (rearmost of the two)?
