You probably need to know what triggered the CEL/MIL. Autozone will scan your Brick for no cost and tell you what code it's thrown. The best way to clear the light is to correct the problem that triggered it. Many code scanners can clear the light but may also clear all the OBD II readiness codes. If they are cleared and not reset when you go in for an emmissions inspection your car will be rejected. It can sometimes take days, weeks, even months to go through the proper drive cycles to reset the readiness codes on 960/90 Bricks. It's worth investing in a good code scanner that reads malfuction codes as well as I/M readiness status. Usually about $100. Dealers can charge $80 to read your codes so in a couple of uses it pays for itself.
