I overhauled an old Falcon fordamatic, in addition to the front oil pump, it had a rear oil pump driven by a dog via a flat on the output shaft. Pushing the car got enough tranny oil pressure to engage the clutches in Drive to turn the engine through the torque converter. Nice idea but no-one does it anymore, only front pumps.
