I am a member of the Puget Sound Chapter of VCOA; our membership is quite
low - with only a couple PV's -- driving around I see PV's and the owners
either have no knowledge of our club, or no interest in club activities
which concerns me, especially with vintage cars, you would think the benefits
of membership are valuable. There is also a Puget Sound Volvo Sports America
club which is excellent. I would not have my wonderful 544 except for the fact
that I happened to notice a show of old Volvos in a parking lot, joined the
clubs, and later bought my car from a member. In clubs I have found rare
parts, made friendships, enjoyed cruises/other events--these clubs have
enriched my life!
