Been a member of the CT chapter since 1984.
The chapter has never been very active regardless how hard the volunteers have tried. There has been a few hardcore members over the years, but it seems that general apathy rules here.
It used to be easy to participate when I was younger, but after the family started growing, I found it hard to find the time. Every year I say I'll get back to Carlisle or a national meet, but time and money always seem to interfere (never enough of either!).
I'll still remain a member because like others, I like Rolling, discounts and contacts etc.
Belinda, too bad you had some negative experiences with VCOA. Don't give up, there are other clubs out there if this one was not for you.
