Hello,

The shift boot you have in the picture is for 1972-1973 1800e/es and 1972-1974 140/160 series with a short shifter handle.

A 1971 142e should still have the long neck shifter and that shift boot is different than the 122 or 544 shift boots.

Volvo discontinued this shift boot years ago.

I might have a NOS one in stock.
