The idle air control valve is in the large diameter rubber elbow that connects to the throttle body. It is mounted horizontally and has an electrical connector on one end.

To test the O2 sensor you need an analog voltmeter. The reading should move rather quickly above and below ~0.5V (typically between 0.2V and 0.7V) with the engine running.
